It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Siddhartha Institute of Technology and Sciences (SITS). As your Principal, I am honored and greatly privileged to lead SITS and continue the ambitious strategy of addressing the challenges and opportunities of the future to benefit our students.
SITS has a tradition of imparting quality technical knowledge and ethical values to the students. The primary goal is to deliver quality programs, which are rigorously assured by internal mechanisms and external audits; programs delivered with first-rate teaching skills from well qualified and experienced academic staff utilizing modern state-of-the-art ICT enabled facilities.
Our Institute has been progressing at an exponential rate since its inception. This is reflected in the examination results and placements. We give our students opportunities to develop a global mindset and groom them to become smart, collaborative and entrepreneurial.
Research groups in the departments facilitate inculcation of research culture in the departments. The publication data speaks about the commitment of faculty and students towards research.
The college has initiated capacity building program to assist the students to rise to their fullest potential which is also one of our mission statements. The holistic development approach will help us in addressing challenges due to different socio-economic background of students and empower them.
I am sure, our students will have excellent professional career by availing the unique opportunity provided through classroom teaching, laboratory instructions, industrial trainings and participation in sports, cultural and other extra-curricular activities of interest.
This glory has been achieved due to the synergetic efforts of management, learned faculty, dedicated staff and sincere students over these years.
I express my sincere gratitude to our stakeholders for their continued support, cooperation and active involvement to make SITS a citadel of Technical learning.
The Institute is now well placed to capitalize on its formative years, and I invite all our stakeholders to support in our endeavors. On my part, I will strive to the best of my abilities to place the college amongst the leading providers of Higher Education.
